Consumer electronics 3D printing FAQ

What electronics parts does TAKT 3D print?+
PCB enclosures, display bezels, sensor housings, connector shrouds, internal brackets, and assembly / ESD-safe fixtures. Most customers are consumer-hardware teams iterating between EVT, DVT, and PVT or running small production batches.
Can you print ESD-safe enclosures?+
Yes. We stock ESD-safe PETG for component-handling trays, test jigs, and enclosures where static discharge is a risk. Call out "ESD-safe" in your quote notes and we will route the job to the right printer and filament spool.
Do you support multi-SKU short runs without retooling?+
Yes — multi-SKU is where FDM beats injection molding badly. Swap files between parts on the same build plate, ship 10 of one variant and 50 of another without a retool or MOQ penalty. Great for color-variant launches and configured-to-order hardware.
What tolerances can you hold for PCB fit?+
On quality-preset "Precision" we typically hold ±0.15 mm on small features and ±0.25 mm on large ones. For tight PCB mounts we recommend dropping one test part first; we will post-process the clip or slot before the main run.
